Wow – what a great day – the sun is shinning, and it is absolutely beautiful out – ![]()
The ride to work this morning was very uplifting …. Got stuck behind a school bus – no worries- it was the elementary school bus and those little 1st and 2nd graders are sooo cute! Can you remember back then when life was nothing more than having fun… just made me smile. There were bikers out, runners, walkers, and people with their pets just enjoying life and the day. I am so looking forward to going for a walk after lunch today – oh – did I mention today is our yearly holiday lunch (yikes). I was kinda dreading it, but only because I have been trying to be so good food wise this week. So with that said – I have some good and bad news… The bad news – my resolve is starting to weaken – the good news – I do have a plan….
So – food for today
B: 6:30 AM Egg whites and oatmeal
S: 9:00 Almonds and raisins – started to get really hungry (ate breakfast earlier than usual) - green smoothie at 11:00 (planning on going into lunch more on the full side)
L: 12:00 At lunch I will allow myself 1 small plate with one table spoon of anything I want – but will focus mainly on protein and veggies … just praying there is no apple pie.., plus I will grab some extra turkey for around 3:30…
D: 6:00 4 oz ground turkey, green beans and salad…
Workout – 4 mile power walk after lunch – ![]()

Oh and there is a six – finally feeling less bloated, which means all my hard work is starting to pay off!! woo hoo!
